When darkness overtakes the godly, light will come bursting in.
Psalm 112:4 NLT
While visiting Yaquina Head in May of 2007, we discovered the lighthouse had been restored to its original colors and the workroom once again has two windows in the south side. The tower is now all black and white; gone is the red and green I captured in my earlier Yaquina Head Lighthouse I picture. I felt the need for an update, so I took my original drawing, changed the colors, let the birds fly around a bit and the wild mustard bloom for a "new" drawing the family is very happy with. I hope you will be too.
We have been fascinated with how this lighthouse keeps changing. We have seen pictures sometimes with one chimney and sometimes with two. Some pictures show the adjoining building with a red roof, some show black and occasionally we have even found a picture with a blue roof. But there is never any doubt that the photo is Oregon's tallest lighthouse!
