I have been asked, on occasion, for a Christmas card that says "Oregon" to send to out-of-state family and friends. In 2013, I thought that might be a fun thing to do, but I just didn't have time. Family issues kept me away from my drawing board and Kathy was getting concerned about having time to get cards sent out, so I compromised. Instead of starting from scratch, I took my picture of Yaquina Head Lighthouse II and tied a big red ribbon around it. With the addition of a wreath and a little Christmas tree, what could say "Merry Christmas from Oregon" any better than Oregon's tallest lighthouse?
