Cape Meares Lighthouse Three Capes Scenic Loop, Oceanside, Oregon

Lord, you have brought light to my life; my God, you light up my darkness. Psalm 18:28 NLT This picture completes my goal to draw all the Oregon Coast lighthouses (except for the two privately owned homes). Photographing Cape Meares was a fun experience. When Tami and Scott learned that his parents were going to be visiting from Missouri, they planned a motorcycle ride to the coast and invited us to meet them. After lunch at the cheese factory in Tillamook, we went to the lighthouse along the Three Capes Scenic Loop. We all had a great time and a perfect Oregon summer day. This is probably one of my better lighthouse drawings. I like all of them, but this one has more appeal for me. I particularly like the windswept pine.
