I have always wanted to put a manger scene on Battery Point at Christmastime. So, when we thought of doing a Christmas card using one of my drawings, I thought that this would be a good way to do it. I drew this to use for our own Christmas cards in 2005. We released it to the public in 2006, which made the card available in time for the 150th anniversary of the Battery Point Lighthouse.
